Servi Quarter Horses: Opportunity and Versatility

Beverly Servi of Servi Quarter Horses in Durango Colorado takes pride in the great minded, talented, and stunning looking horses that are a part of her breeding program. Her dams are all proven, money earners. Her 2014 stallion, Bet Hesa Boon is a new 2023 Riata Buckle Stallion.

Beverly purchased Bet Hesa Boon as a yearling at the Snaffle Bit Futurity sale. His video is what caught her eye, and then when she laid her eyes on him, she just knew there was something special about this stallion.

The Homozygous Bay Roan stallion that Servi says has changed her life, is a unique result of the pairing of cutting sire Bet Hesa Cat and an outstanding earning and producing mare, Flo N Blu Boon. (LTE 66,000 & PE $260,000)

There's no doubt that with a pedigree like his and his Jaw-dropping good looks, ability to produce only roan offspring, and success in the show pen, Bet Hesa Boon has quite an impressive resume. Bet Hesa Boon is the only horse in history to win back-to-back National Stock Horse Association, (NSHA) Open Derby Championships, in 2018 and 2019, among many other championship titles.

"As a stallion owner, it is important to me to connect with breeders, owners, and trainers to build a community of amazing people and horses," Says Beverly. "I know that Boon's offspring will be incredibly versatile, in Cow Horse, Cutting, Roping and Reining. By investing in programs like the Riata Buckle it is a win-win for everyone. As far as I am aware, the Riata Buckle is the only program that pays out to the BREEDER, Owner, and Rider. Being a breeder myself, I understand the emotional and financial investment people make to get their horse to the show pen. This is my way of giving back to all those who believe in this outstanding stallion. Investing in the Riata Buckle program provides different options and opportunities for his offspring, which is the key to success."

Bet Hesa Boon is shown by Million Dollar Rider and World's Greatest Horseman Champion Clayton Edsall. Tyler Merrill will be competing on him at the World's Greatest Horseman scheduled February 12th - 18th at the Will Rogers Coliseum in Fort Worth during the NRCHA Cow Horse Celebration of Champions.
