The team roping horse, at any and all levels, from the #7 to the Open, are now emerging to be specifically and deliberately bred animals with the features, composition,
mindset, and dispositions that is most desirable for the vast majority of recreational team ropers. The program brings together stallion owners, mare owners, breeders and

How the Riata works:
Breed to Riata Stallions: Select from the Riata Stallions and contact them to breed your mare or purchase offspring.
Nominate: Nominate offspring yearly. Nomination payments are due yearly, starting the year of birth, and are due each year to remain eligible to compete.
