Finale Riata Bonus Winners!

 

The inaugural Riata Side Pot program concluded in Las Vegas on December 8th. The $80,000 Side Pot was the final payout of the $170,000 awarded during the year. The final purse had a total of 89 ropers entered and surprisingly one-third of all entered horses won money in a Finale event (no joke,15 headers and 15 heelers). The biggest winner was Zack Mabry riding SF Freckles Four winning a combined total of $139,500 on the Four Bonnie Bay head horse. This horse was Lot #1 in the Riata Showcase Horse Sale. Casey Hilley purchased the horse from Dustin Reid (Dugger Mountain Performance Horses) and Zac Mabry quickly cut a deal with Casey for a mount. The Piedmont, AL cowboy spun four head in the 11.5 Finale for Coleman Reid to win 2^nd place and split $239,000.
