When Laura and Gary Teague purchased the Cross Bell Ranch in Copan, Oklahoma, it wasn't just a real estate transaction, but the start of a new adventure.  With deep roots in farming and ranching experiences in Colorado, the Teagues currently ranch in Oklahoma, Colorado, and Texas, and focus on producing elite, versatile performance horses. Their daughter, Charlee Teague has been the driving force behind the family's progress with horses.

Horses have always been the family's plan, including having bred and raised legendary Metallic Cat out of a partnership with Lindy Burch, but it was Riata stallion, Taggline who changed everything for the Teague's. Bred by Jim Haworth, the 2016 bay roan stallion is a powerhouse of breeding, sired by the elite Metallic Cat with $70 million in progeny earnings, and out of Dual Rey Tag, $1.1 million in progeny earnings. Taggline is a force of elite genetics in the arena with over $56,800 in LTE and 57 AQHA points across multiple disciplines.

"Taggline has a huge work ethic and is incredibly smart," Laura said. "He started his career in the NCHA arena and has transitioned easily into the NRCHA arena with 17-Time World Champion Brad Lund. Taggline's achievements in cutting, reining, roping, and cow horse events prove that one horse can excel across disciplines. Being able to provide a variety of incentive programs is so important for these horses to remain competitive. So, when we were approached by Riata about an available spot, we were. So much money is up for grabs!"

The first big wave of Taggline's progeny are stepping into the spotlight this year, and expectations are high. The only two foals born from his first foal crop are already NCHA money earners.   Want a Taggline of your own? Weanlings and yearlings are available now. Taggline stands at EE Ranches, Inc in Whiteboro, Texas.
