On the website there are downloadable entry forms which allow you to pay your entries by check. There is also an option to pay with a credit card ONLINE at RiataBuckle.com. Ropers can enter via either method, but if you enter online you will have the added convenience of selecting an already nominated horse or if the horse you're riding still needs to be nominated, you can do that online as well, (please make sure you have your horse's registration number or if it's a pending registration, the foaling date and sire and dam's information) - visit RiataBuckle.com. Please note, in order for us to verify your handicap as well as your current membership, during login, you will be asked to enter your Global Handicap ID number.
The 2023 Riata Buckle Championship will pay $2.5 Million guaranteed. Last year the Riata Buckle Championship paid out $2 Million which included $1.3 Million in guaranteed contributions. The event has six divisions this year including the Open. Three divisions have a guaranteed payout of over a $500,000 and Riata Buckle has guaranteed $400,000 in futurity incentives to each of the ALL-AGE ropings.
